Cars for a Cause is back for 2024 with an event unlike any other we’ve seen in the area! Join us on Saturday, June 22, 2024 for
Cars for a Cause x Oneday Dreams Charity Car Show @ the LaSalle Event Centre
presented by Unifor Local 444.
The show will feature over 40 exotic cars on display in ‘The Dream Hangar’ at the Event Centre with the show extending outdoors, where you will find some of the best cars from within the community at ‘The Waterfront’! Our vendors will also have some incredible shop cars on display!
We will have a number of awards and raffle prizes to be won, as well as a 50/50 draw, and, of course, our Low Car Limbo!
All proceeds and sponsorships will go towards making dreams come true for terminally ill Canadian adults.
A portion of proceeds from the spectator entry fees to be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Windsor/Essex.

Due to the limited number of spaces available for show cars, all those that would like to have their car in the show must complete an application for consideration. Those selected will be contacted to confirm their space. $20 registration fee per car due upon confirmation.

About Cars For A Cause
Cars for a Cause began in 2019 after the loss of a close family member and friend who struggled with his mental health. With so many members of the car community – and many of our own friends and family – struggling with their mental health, we saw an opportunity to turn a tragedy into something positive. We wanted to do something to help raise awareness, so we decided to start organizing our first event to generate proceeds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. In addition to raising funds for mental health, we also gave people an outlet to talk to someone and simply see they are not alone. After seeing the success of our first event, we wanted to continue bringing the car community together to help more local non-profit organizations.
Since 2019, we have raised nearly $50,000 for local mental health initiatives, with over $17,000 raised for youth mental health at our 2022 event. We look to build on this momentum to raise additional funds for non-profit organizations in need within our local community.
Our mission is to generate necessary funds for community mental health initiatives while providing a fun and exciting event for members of the Windsor-Essex car community to participate in.

FAQ
We appreciate everybody applying to have their cars entered into the show. Those that are not selected for entry in the show will be notified by email with directions for overflow parking at the event.
Owners whose cars are selected for the show will be contacted by email beginning in May until June 7th or when all the spaces have been filled. We suggest applying early to ensure you are able to be considered for entry.
No, all spectator entry fees will be collected at the event. We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, and Mastercard.
