Track Your KMs
Walk, Run or Bike over a 10 day period of July 22-31. Set your own personal KM or Step goal that will go towards our total goal of 2085 km (e.g., you might run 5 km or your team might bike and walk 50 km collectively). Fun fact – 2085KM is over 2,736,220 steps. Share your KM goal and your journey to reach it on your own personal fundraising page and social media to incentivize your donors. For instructions on how to edit your page, visit our TOOLBOX.
The more people who participate the closer we get to conquering Windsor-Essex county!
You can start a team with friends, family, and/or colleagues or sign up as an individual. Everyone completes their target KMs over the course of the 10 day period (July 22-31) at their convenience. During this time, team members and individuals track their exercise and can share their progress on social media. Don’t forget to use the #DreamsKMTrue hashtag.
Make sure you take screenshots of your KM or steps completed which you can send in to enter for prizing! Please send your KM tracking screenshots to email@example.com. You can wait to send all of them when the fundraiser is completed or send them throughout the 10 days to let us know how close we are to our goal.
Remember – this is a virtual event, so you and your team members can contribute no matter where you are while practicing social distancing and staying safe. Click here for suggested trails and parks to get active in Windsor-Essex.

Dreams are as unique as the individual. Dreams could be anything from a home comfort item such as recliner or adjustable bed, taking in a live game of a favorite sports team, a bedside reunion with a loved one or even enjoying a lifelong hobby in a special way. We share all of our dream stories with our donors so you will know the direct impact your donation has on an individual at the end of their life and their loved ones.
To track your personal progress on km completed during the challenge week of July 22-31, we recommend that you use your favorite fitness app on your cell phone, fit-bits or smart watch. Remember to take screenshots which you can send in to enter for prizing!

A virtual event is a personal challenge that you can decide where and when you walk/run/bike and the distance you go. You can choose to complete your km goal at your favourite park, trail or neighbourhood or even at home on the treadmill while staying safe and raising money and awareness for Oneday Dreams.
Every step you take contributes to our overall challenge goal of 2,085 kms. Together we can make dreams come true!
